Where is the most romantic place for an invitation in Heidelberg?
Heidelberg Castle is considered one of Germany's most romantic settings. For birthdays, anniversaries and wedding anniversaries, the Schlossweinstube offers the ideal frame with a view of the finest Renaissance façades north of the Alps.
What does “all inclusive” mean at the candle-light dinner?
The champagne aperitif, the four-course menu, all accompanying fine wines, water and coffee specialities are included in the price up front. The candle-light dinner is given as a gift voucher and redeemed via the regular table reservation.
Can I order à la carte?
No. At Scharff's Schlossweinstube we serve set menus of three courses or more only — ordering individual dishes à la carte is not possible. You choose between three and six courses, classic, vegetarian or vegan.
Are there vegan options?
Yes. Besides the classic and vegetarian versions, the four-course gourmet menu is available fully vegan on prior request.
Is the Schlossweinstube step-free?
The Schlossweinstube is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible; the approach and the castle courtyard are cobbled. Special parking is available near the funicular for guests with reduced mobility — please get in touch.
