Frequently asked questions
Do I need a castle ticket to visit you?
During the day a valid castle ticket is required for the courtyard. For evening reservations at the Schlossweinstube and for events, entry is included with your booking.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the designated car park above the castle (Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg 20, 69117 Heidelberg). From there a short walk through the castle garden brings you to us. Special spaces are available near the funicular for guests with reduced mobility — please get in touch.
We are a larger group. Can I book online?
At the Schlossweinstube, you can reserve online for up to 8 guests. Please contact us for larger groups. The Bakehouse accepts group enquiries for 25 or more people only — email info@hdsre.de.
Are there vegetarian and vegan menus?
Yes. All menus come in classic and vegetarian versions, and fully vegan on prior request. Please tell us about allergies and intolerances when booking.
How do I pay on site?
The Bakehouse is cashless only. At the Schlossweinstube we accept common cards and cash.
